Anime Chains Discussion!!!!!!! [Please Read]

As your painfully aware our beloved animechains seems to be lost. T_T
Out of curiousity I tried going to AC about 5 minutes ago....it lead me to a search, and at the top of the search it read "this domain name may be on sale by it's owner". If you click on that link it brings you here.

So supposedly the domain name for AC is being sold for 10,000 US.
This could mean the site has been moved, junked or just renamed...or will be under new management soon.
......or I have this all wrong....and I don't know what I'm saying. U.U (I hoping for that)

What's going to happen? Does anyone know anything????

I am trying to get ahold of either tomato or GG to find out what is going on. Hopefully I get a reply soon.

I bet GG is busy right now...

I sure would like to know what the hell is going on. o_o

Pestering them might not be a good idea right now. I'm sure a lot of users are needy too. I just want my RPG back!

Well even if someone buys the AC URL if Tomato or GG has the forums saved on they're hard drive, the forums might be able to be recovered under a new URL.

If this were to happen we might get a new server also!!!

But AC might be gone forever.

Yey on the first part...but if it's gone forever or not...are the users required to get any notice...? Or maybe any e mail out of politeness???

If you go to the group on facebook called- AC forum united. you shall see what is happening there. Ac is getting sold.... Tomato said AC's affiliates and stuff abandoned her. So she has to pay
for everything and take care of everything not just the AC forum. However GG suggested part of her skill gaming winnings go to the forum each month.

So what I think is that AC is down for a little moment that's if GG can repair the situation.

Apparently Tomato just can't pay it all and she has to sell Animechains.net.
Plus Animechains.net is a different site than Animechains.com, it doesn't hold the sites information. I don't know if your info or anyones for that matter would be saved. Does anyone know if there is a way to save that kind of stuff?

the only way t recover the aniime chains.net info s that if the administrators saved these files. I think that GG might have recovered something up. But i have a little bit of hope! T_T

Hey this isn't the only AC member site there's also Anaconda's Archives, Sutorei's site and KBN (Kena's site). So yeah all the members are pretty much moving on. But I still miss da AC ;___;

But I was just saying that people have worked really hard to keep these forums and I think as friends to these people from the AC we should join them all and support them as well as we all possibly can instead of always being at one site all the time cause that just doesn't seem very fair to me.

*sigh* i was afraid that somthing like this happened. I tryed a while ago and got somthing about Anime Spiril...what ever that is. Or a 'dose not exits' thing from google.

I just wish they would of given us some warning before doing selling AC. Or At least tell us that the sights been sold, so we at know what happened.

That would be a lot of traffic and I think Harmless is still working on things.

It's better if we left them decide what to do with this site.

anyway i never visit my summary and i totally forgot about your Pm. sorry >_> but yea AC is being sold off and tomato relingquished ownership to someone else. thats who is selling it now. plus all AC's affiliates abandoned her so she was kinda forced to.

I was amazed I even reached you there to be honest.. Either way, the archive forum doesn't have too many members itself but there are two AC members that joined there a few months back who I can prolly email and get in contact with. Unfortunately I can't seem to find Horo :\ or a few others... Hopefully somebody has some MSN screen names...
