Visual kei

In other words Jrock-Jpop clothing and hair styles along with outrageous makeup and outstanding fashion sense.

However puting them on in some societies are considered... "wow...emo comin your way."
though i think it is awesome.
so why this rejection of some unusual clothing styles?

I guess coz it's "girly" for guys. The colors and makeup are totally out there (bright and shiney)

well according to an old interview with Shou (from alicenine.) before he thought of joining a band he thought that Visual Kei is "girly". that's where I got it from.

Miku actually describes An Cafe as Oshare Kei -- meaning that they wear bright colors "happy colors" but it's still considered fashionable street wear.

Visual Kei is all about fantasy image .. while very beautiful it's more costume than practical -- and will definately draw attention.

yes I can go get the updated list (ish about 12 entries long) but the thread will just go into a death roll again.
