Hi

This is Abyss and I thought I would start an RPG. here goes lol

Heroes Legacy

A time when chaos rules. Desperate times call for desperate measures. The world is under siege from the worst villians of all time and only the heroes of the fantasy world can help. This is the call for all heroes to take a stand and fight for what's good and decent!

Rules

1. No god-modding-there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Absolutely none. Get it, got it, good!
2. First come first serve-if somebody picks a hero that you wanted to be well tough cookies. They got here first so try and find another hero.
3. There are also villains so choose that path if you want to as well.
4. Romance is acceptable but cybering is not (obviously) so if you want to cyber then take it to PMs.
5. If you don't like any of the current heroes make up your own! I will create a template for anyone that so chooses to create their own hero.
6. Maximum two characters per person. If we get people creating 3 or 4 characters then it will me really hard to sort out who's who and what's going on.
7. If you attack somebody you can't brush off their attack and say "Jack easily dodged every one of Joe's punches." That is not fair and can lead to a boring RPG that stagnates (becomes dull). If somebody attacks you then make it interesting and let them hit you so then they will let you hit them. It's all about give and take. You can't take, take, take without some giving or the RPG will go NOWHERE!!!
8. Have Fun! This is the most important and crucial for any RPG to survive. Everybody should be having a good time with this, ok?

Bio: Bruce David Banner was a scientist at Culver University when a experiment with Gamma radiation went wrong and when ever he gets angry he turns into The Incredible Hulk. Bruce Banner was born in Virginia but raised in Pennsylvania. He persued a career in Molecular Biology. He was part of the Super Soldier program during the 1990s. The Incredible Hulk was a result of an experiment gone wrong and now must move around to keep from being captured by the Unites States military.

Bio: Peter's parents were killed in a car accident when he was just 4 years old and was sent to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. He's sort of a loner but has a crush on Mary Jane Watson. Peter was your tipical teenager until he was bitten by a radioactive spider. This gave him his powers and Peter learned the hard way that with great power comes great responsibility. Peter's Uncle Ben was murdered by a theif that Peter could have stopped. This haunts Peter every day and struggles to deal with this grief constantly.

Bio/History: Nilithan had been an orphan for as long as he could remember. His powers were out of controll and had chosen to burst out several times against his will. Becouse of this no one wanted to be his friend in school, everyone was afraid. Anger and sadness filled his heart. He left school after the ninth grade and ran away from civilization. A mysterious man soon found him at the age of 16 and began to train him. This man gave him complete power over his fire but at the same time he poisoned the poor boys heart, soul and brain with what this man judged as "the right thing" which was complete world domination. This dark person also gave the boy the name, Inferno.

A great wave of flame flew into the bank and killed random peaople upon the impact. Inferno together with a man stepped inside of the burning building

Seeing people still moving Inferno sighed and was just about the fire of more flame when he saw a man who hadn't seemed to be injured...yet

OOC: For when my characters I'll use Red for Peter Parker/Spiderman and green for Bruce Banner/The Hulk ok?

Peter Parker sighed. He missed seeing Mary Jane Watson and dreamed of her every night. Peter was walking along the 28th andstreet when he bumped into a stranger and his Spider-senses went crazy. Peter knew immediately that there was something up with this guy and decided to tail him. He snuck into an alley and changed into Spiderman. He followed this mysterious man for several blocks.

Bruce Banner was lost in his own theories about how to change back to normal when he saw a bank being robbed. He raced over with no concern about his own safety and started throwing stuff at the robber. "Hey dumbass! Yeah I'm talking to you ya ugly pile of dog shit! C'mon can't you pick on someone your own size?" Bruce threw chairs, telephones and other things at the guy to distract him.

Inferno saw the people getting up, even though they were injured and saw them fleeing out of the building as fast as they could. He ignored the man he saw before him and turned his eyes to bruce who was throwing stuff at him. Inferno rose his hand and sent a wave of fire heading towards Bruce

Bruce dived out of the way of the flames. "You don't want to make me angry buddy, you won't like me when I'm angry." Bruce avoided another wave of flames and reiterated his earlier message. "Seriously, you don't want to piss me off. You'll regret it. Big Time!"

Uh huh...well tell that to the falling apart building. You see I am immune to fire, it cannot really hurt me...but it can fry you. This building is falling apart, the only way for you to get out is by killing me.

Inferno snapped his fingers and a ring of flame surrounded the two

Killing me will dispell this fire instantly, you have a time limit though, within nearly a minut this burning building will fall apart, if you somehow wont die from the massive stone that will bury you, you will die from the hellfire surrounding it. Now...enough talk

Inferno summoned a fire whip that appeared in his hand. He then attack and launched the fiery whip towards bruce

Bruce winced as he was whipped repeatedly. "I warned you that you shouldn't make me angry!" Bruce moaned as he felt the whip sting him. That's when it happened. Bruce's eyes turned green and he started to grow. Then he turned green and became larger and more muscular. Bruce had become The Incredible Hulk. The Hulk roared and picked up some a very heavy desk and hurled it at Inferno knocking him down. The Hulk smashed the ground ripping apart the floor. He then started throwing heavy objects at Inferno with reckless abandon.

Spiderman swung into the bank and was startled by The Hulk. "Whoa! Who's tall, green and ugly?" The Hulk turned around and chucked a boulder at him but Spidey avoided it easily. "Hey buddy I think you need to work on your temper!"

Inferno put his hand on his forehead and then saw blood on his hand. It was so long ago since he saw his blood. This green thing could actully be a worthy challange. Inferno got up on his feet just to get hit by a flying chair. He clenched his fist and flame surrounded his body.

Your getting anoying...now you shall burn in hellfire...

The flame that was surrounding Inferno left him and started flying around the area forming several fire balls.

Now die!

Bio: Storm is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesses, all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Her mother, married an American photojournalist, and moved to Manhattan, were Storm was born. After learning to be an expert thief, and moving to Africa, were she was worshiped as a Goddess, she was found by Professor Xavier, and became a member of the X-men. Storm has extreme claustrophobia.

Note: She'll only speak in blue, otherwise all other dialogue will be written in normal text.

Storm hurried down the street, worried she would be late back to Mutant Academy, were she was a teacher. She figured she would already be at the bank by now. But because she decided not to cause attention to herself by flying, it had taken much longer than she had expected to get there. She hoped there were no long lines in the bank, so she could make her withdraw quickly, and get outta there. But before she even saw the bank, she heard people screaming. Startled, she picked up her pace. As she now saw the bank, she saw people running and screaming, away from it.

What the hell? Storm said out loud. She sighed, as she now flew up into the air and towards the bank. Great, just what I need....

OOC: Ok, hopefully that was ok. I'll change anything if needed. Btw, I'm pretty familiar with the character Storm, but to be accurate with my posts, I'm going by what it says here on her bio sheet: http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/s/storm.htm
So, whatever it says, I'll go by.^^ lol.
Oh, and now since there are more heroes than villains (well, sorta, since The Hulk goes back and forth, lol), I can create a villain as well if anyone wants me to. xD

OOC: Sorry Danny, I kinda forgot but it won't happen again!

IC: The Hulk ripped the vault door off of its hinges and used it as a shield. When the door absorbed most of the heat he chucked it at Inferno but missed him by a mile.

Spiderman used his webs to divert the vault door away from Inferno. "Hey hothead, I don't think you're gonna beat him so why don't we try to lead him out of here so he doesn't hurt anybody?"

With that Inferno laughed and left the bank, jumping into their car and driving away

"Well that was strange. I wonder who he was?" Spidey said to himself. He turned to The Hulk and yelled, "Hey why don't we take this somewhere less populated big guy?". Spiderman tried to tie The Hulk up with his webs but the Hulk broke them easily.

The Hulk got angrier. He started throwing things at Spiderman. Spiderman narrowly avoided a large bag of money and retreated to a safe distance. The Hulk ran out of the bank and started chasing the car that Inferno got into. He chased it down E 28th Street and followed it as it turned on to 3rd Avenue. The Hulk tossed cars out of the way in his persuit of Inferno. He roared an lept infront of the car blocking its path. The Hulk slammed his fists on the ground in a sort of challenge to Inferno. He was taunting Inferno to face him!

Storm was about to enter the bank, when she saw a man she had never seen before come out of it. She was surprised by how calm he looked, especially since it looked like all hell had broken loose inside. As he entered his car and drove off, Storm decided that she probably should follow him. But as she lifted herself to a building over his car, to not be noticed, The Hulk came busting out of the bank, and heading in the direction of the car before her. The whole that large green being left, revealed Spider Man still in the bank. She lowered herself to the ground, then ran to were Spider Man was, slightly relieved to see he didn't look injured.

Yo Spidey! What did you two do to piss off the big green guy? She asked, wondering what was going on.

"Hey Storm! How are you?" Spidey smiled "I didn't do anything to piss him off it was the flame guy with the charming personality that got the big guy angry." Spiderman said sarcastically. "What brings you to the this neighbourhood anyway? I though you and the X-Men were fighting of Juggernaut and Sabretooth in LA*.

OOC: LOL i just thought I'd throw a random reference in there for you guys...it doesn't mean anything but you always know that there's a reference to a story arc in certain issues of the comics lmao!

Inferno sighed then rose both of his hands and a grand circle of flame surrounded his area.

I promise you, after we are done here, hell would be wounderfull in comparison

The Hulk ran up to the flames and got ready. He was not going to let Inferno get away again. The Hulk clapped his hands and a shockwave of air sent the flames right back at Inferno.

Inferno dispelled the fire before it reached him. He then snapped his fingers and firey hydra heads popped up from the from the ground and started spitting fire balls

Have you ever thouht about going to anger management? It is just a suggestion

The Hulk dodged the fireballs and went straight for the hydra. He punched the first head and thought he had destroyed it but it reformed. The Hulk picked up a tanker truck filled with water, ripped it open and doused the hydra with the water. The Hulk roared at Inferno, picked up the tanker and hurled it at Inferno. He smashed his fists on the ground in a display of anger creating a long crack in the ground.

Inferno created a grand shield of flame when the tanker went heading his way. The shield took most of the damage but it broke and the remaining force hit him making him fly down at the ground. He was leing there and looked up at the sky

You really are a worthy advesary...

Inferno stood up and wiped the blood of his forehead

One of uss will die here today, to me, it doesn't really matter who...

Inferno summoned several swords made of fire and sent them the hulks way

The Hulk was burned by the swords but was instantly healed. He grabbed a power line and started whipping Inferno with it. Then he used the power line as a lasso to ensnare Inferno and swung him around in a circle very quickly.

The Hulk howled in pain as the needle of flame imbedded itself into The Hulk's arm. He scratched madly at it trying desperately to get it out but he couldn't. The Hulk ran to a fire hydrant and smashed it to get some water. The fire hydrant ruptured and soaked The Hulk's arm in water which got rid of the painful needle. The Hulk grunted and glared at Inferno. "HULK SMASH!!!" yelled The Hulk and leaped at Inferno with a both fist ready for a powerful smash attack.

Before Inferno got the chanse to finish his sentence his got smashed down at the hard ground. He slowly stood up, once again the flame took some damage but that hit took most life out of him. Blood was now dripping of him

Inferno smiled and grabbed his master. He summoned a bird of flame and picked up his master and jumped ont he bird. Still carreing his faster they flew to their hideout

Looks like you found a playmate Inferno

The Hulk roared at Inferno for fleeing but decided not to persue him. He was just turning around when the military rolled up in their tanks and other armoured vehicles. The Hulk snarled and took off running when the army let him have it with all the firepower they had. The Hulk shrugged of the first shot but the second shot knocked him down causing him to roar at them and charge. He smashed the first tank and ripped the top off the second one and used it as a sort of club to smash the Humvees that came at him. The Hulk grunted and threw the rest of the tank so far that it landed in Central Park. The stunned soldiers climbed out of what was left of the tank and tried to stand up but were to concussed to stand up straight. The Hulk took off running and used the buildings as a sort of monkey bars to get away from the Army.

OOC: Danny can you take over as the Army please? Excited/Very happy

The military sent helicompters after the hulk, fiering bullets at him from every direction. Down at the ground they readied rocket launchers

Ready!? Fire!!

The army men fired the rockets at the hulk. In the mean time several more tanks were on their way

Inferno's wounds were now healing properly with the help from his master. He now got bandages over them and was sitting down on a sofa eating a burger and watching the news

What seems to be a grand green...monkey like creature is climbing the buildings of the state. The army is throwing everything they got at it, but it doesn't seem like it is helping! More tanks are on their way! Soon planes will be here as well I presume

That ain't gonna stop it sweetheart

Inferno swallowed and laughed while watching the woman ont he news talking.

The Hulk was knocked off the buildings by the one of the rockets but grabbed the other two and sent them flying back at the soldiers. They all scattered as the rockets exploded in a large fireball. The Hulk was running low on energy. He needed to get away now. The Hulk jumped back on to the ground and smashed a hole in the ground. He jumped down and made his way through the sewers to escape his captors. The Hulk transformed back into Bruce Banner. Bruce was drained after all the fighting and had to rest.

Bruce woke with a start. It was the thunderstorm that had disturbed him. He sighed and tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't stop thinking about Inferno. How can I beat him if I can't get to him. I can hurt him but there's no way I can kill him. What am I going to do... Bruce lay there until the quiet rumble of thunder lulled him back to sleep.

Inferno got up from his seat and walked into the kitchen and got his masters burger then walked into the living room and gave him it.

Bruce got up and rubbed his eyes. He had to find that Inferno before Inferno found him. Bruce managed to sneak into town and snatch some clothes that fit him so he didn't stick out like a sore thumb in his tattered threads. He grabbed a newspaper and looked through the classified section to see if there was a job he could apply for. He spotted an opening at a factor about a mile away and went up to the road and started to hitchike to get to the plant. Bruce was lucky and a friendly trucker gave him a lift. He arrived at the factory and went inside. The manager was very kind and hired him and also realized that Bruce had nowhere to live so he set up a mattress in the spare room in the back of the plant. Bruce thanked him and went to sleep realizing that the beast that was caged inside would be released if he couldn't control his temper. It was a startling fact and Bruce pondered and queried about how to deal with this "inner demon". the next day he sought the help of a Buddhist monk at the local Buddhist temple. "You must let go of the anger and hatred that you hold inside of you. The Buddha tought us that meditation can help us calm ourselves. Would you like to try it?" Bruce nodded and sat with the wise monk. They used a chant to try to relax Bruce but he still had trouble. He struggled and tried valiently but he couldn't do it. "I know the rage that lives inside you and how much you struggle to control it. Turn to the chant and you will learn to tame the tiger inside of you." Bruce nodded and thanked the kind sage and left. He wondered where Inferno would show up next.

He took the burger from Inferno and got up froim his seat and began to eat it

Bruce went to the factory for his first day of work. It was an exciting day to say the least. He made it through the entire day without losing his temper a bit. It was annoying when some bigger plant workers tried to pick on him but there was a nice woman who stuck up for him. She had black hair and green eyes like emeralds. Her name was Elizibeth and she had been working there for 2 years. She knew those guys could get roudy but never like that. She had a smile that brightened Bruce's day up right then and there. He went to sleep thinking about her.

What should we do then? rob another bank? We need to get his attention, no?

Bruce thought about asking Elizibeth out but realized it was out of the question. If he transformed when they were together then she might freak out. Bruce sighed and tried to figure out how he could control The Hulk. He went to work the next day very tired after only getting about 3 1/2 hours of sleep during the night. He was trying to do his job until he accidentally cut himself on some machinery. He ran to stop the machine but it was too late and the blood already had fallen into the soda can. Angry with himself for letting something like that happen Bruce decided to quit when he saw Elizibeth being picked on by those hot-headed workers that had hassled Bruce a few days ago. "Hey! Let her go you big apes!" The one called Joey laughed. "What are you gonna do wimp? Kick our buts with science?" Joey mocked and pushed Bruce against the fence. "Don't do that!" "Do what you chicken?" "Don't make me angry, believe me you wouldn't like me when I'm angry so please don't make me mad." "You know what guys? I think he's threatening us! Well I believe it's time to teach you a little lesson!" Joey punched Bruce in the face and broke his nose and the others ganged up on him. "Hey you guys leave him alone!" Elizibeth yelled at the brutes but the one called Johnny just slapped her in the face knocking her out. That was it. No matter what he did Bruce couldn't take it. Bruce tried everything but he couldn't control it. Those bullies hitting Elizibeth was the last straw that pushed Bruce Banner over the edge. He started to transform. His muscles got bigger and bigger. His shirt got torn to shreds and his purple shorts got ripped and tattered. His shoes broke from his feet expanding. Bruce Banner had become The Hulk once again. By this time Elizibeth was out cold and didn't see Bruce transform or the onslaught that followed. The thugs were tossed around like rag dolls and when they saw what they were up against they ran like scalded dogs with their tails betweent their legs. The Hulk roared and raced off after them leaving Elizibeth on the ground. The cowards raced out into the city to try to lose the behemoth in the urban sprawl but that wouldn't work one bit. The Hulk ripped open storefronts trying to find those punks and found every one of them and taught them a lesson.

OOC: Danny can Inferno come in to fight with The Hulk now? Excited/Very happy

Inferno laughed and walked over to his suit and put it on (shown in the pic). He then left the apartment and stood on the middle of the road

IC: The Hulk smiled remembering what Inferno had done but was thinking while the fireball came towards him. He was hit by the fireball but shook his head as if to clear his head. The Hulk roared and came at Inferno with a punch to the solar plexus.

He was just about to attack when a part from a building that was halfy destroyed becouse of the hulks street running, fell just infront of him and sent him flying backwards into a wall

You just love to piss me off...

Inferno slowly stood up and rose his hand and summoned a small pheonix that went flying towards the hulk

The Hulk snarled and threw a huge hunk of concrete that destroyed the pheonix and was headed straight for Inferno. The Hulk grinned in satistfaction at the pain that it was going to cause Inferno. He started hurling more stuff at Inferno to try to hurt him.

Inferno leaped up in the sky and avoided the throwing objects. When he landed on the ground he sent a straight wave of fire heading the hulks way
